Attending college is one of the best investments you will ever make. Monitoring your investment is crucial. While Gloucester County College provides one of the best values in education today, there are many resources of additional funding to make your education even more affordable. Gloucester County College takes a comprehensive approach to awarding financial aid. Over 40 percent of the students who entered GCC last year received some form of financial aid. STEPS FOR F INANCIAL AID

  1. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will need to have a federal PIN number (dependent students must obtain at least one for one parent) available at www.pin.ed.gov. You will need a pin number to sign your FAFSA electronically.

    If you are/or will be attending the college during the one or all of the following semesters compete the 2008-2009 FAFSA

    FALL 2008   SPRING 2009   SUMMER 2009

    If you are/or will be attending the college during the following one or all of the semesters compete the 2009-2010 FAFSA

    FALL 2009   SPRING 2010   SUMMER 2010

  1. Complete the Gloucester County College Financial Aid Disclosure and Release Form. This form can be found under. Forms.  

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act Regulations

In compliance with the Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, Gloucester County College is prohibited from providing certain information from your student records to a third party, such as information on grades, billing, tuition and fees assessments, financial aid (including scholarships, grants, work-study, or loans amounts) and other student record information. This restriction applies, but is not limited, to your parents, your spouse, or a sponsor.

Students may grant the College permission to release information about their financial aid to a third party (including parents, step-parents, etc) by submitting a completed Authorization to Release Financial Aid Information Form.  You must complete a separate entry for each parent, family member, or other individual to whom you wish to grant access to your financial aid information.

By completing and signing this form you are giving the Office of Financial Aid the right to discuss with the person(s) you have listed information pertaining to your financial aid including awards, application data, disbursements, eligibility, and/or financial aid satisfactory academic progress status.
